Brandon Hurlbert has over 25 years experience in the marine industry, primarily as a boat engine mechanic working for marine sales and service companies. Having worked at various establishments in the Ottawa Valley, Brandon is well respected in the boating community and this respect is the foundation on which he builds his business.

Brandon began his training at Kemptville College of Agricultural Technology in the Common Core Motive Power Program. At the age of 19, he entered the field working at a marine sales and service business in Perth. He started out rigging boats, but was keen to learn and did so through experience – working toward the position of mechanic. Over the years he has continued learning, keeping up with marine industry trends and earning many factory standard certificates in marine engine service.

Through his experiences, Brandon has learned that boat owners appreciate being educated about their watercrafts. Boating is often not just a hobby, it’s a passion, and they prefer direct communication with their mechanic in order to make the most informed decisions about the maintenance and repair of their valuable investment.
